A great welcome to all of you!! Hope you enjoyed the 3 days of P1 orientation and thank you for helping out as parent volunteers if you did. =)
Attach is the timetable for Friday:
1st - 3rd period -- Chinese
4th period -- Recess
5th - 6th period -- English
7th - 8th period -- Chinese Calligraphy
9th period -- English
10th - 11th period -- Mathematics
I will print a copy of the timetable for your child once the timetable is finalise. =)
Project 'Copier'
Joshua's mother is planning to sponsor us (NYPS teachers) a photocopier as she found out that we are working with only one common machine beside the general office. Actually, having a new photocopier had always been on the teachers' wishlist. We wasted a lot of precious time queueing in front of the photocopier to get our worksheets printed for our students.
All the teachers are grateful to have a new copier in the staffroom. (They even told me to put the pictures of the parents who donated the photocopier on the machine, so that they could thank them personally when they see the donors. It's a little exaggeratting but it is real!) Having a new copier will definitely benefit our students, your child.
More parents participating in this project will definitely lower the contribution amout per parent. This is really something worth investing. It is not compulsary but I really hope that you would consider participating in this project.
